Who is it?
What are its habits?
A nocturnal , animal, the Koala lives in trees, alone. Moreover, it may be very aggressive towards an intruder seeking to share its territory. It likes to sleep perfectly installed in a fork formed by a branch. When it is cold, it tries to curl up into a ball to protect itself and maintain its body temperature. It sleeps during the day and feeds at night. The female has a ventral pouch called a marsupium, where the breasts are: thus, the joeys are born and complete their development within it. Normallty, this pouch has an opening at the top, though in the case of the Koala it is below. This orientation makes it easier for the joey to reach eucalyptus leaves, on which they feed (they adore these trees!).
